1. About us

GroundsBids is an independent UK service. The operator's full legal name and service address will be added here shortly ("we", "us"). Email: hello@groundsbids.co.uk. These terms apply to the GroundsBids website and the weekly digest (the "Service").

2. What the Service is (and isn't)

GroundsBids is a weekly email summarising UK public-sector tender, framework, pre-tender and contract award notices for grounds maintenance, landscaping and arboriculture, together with a list of contracts approaching their end date. It's an information service only. We don't provide bid writing, bid consultancy, or legal, procurement or financial advice, and we don't act on your behalf with any buyer.

3. Public sources and no guarantee

The information comes from public sources, mainly Find a Tender and Contracts Finder (public sector information licensed under the Open Government Licence v3.0), and is filtered automatically. Notices may be incomplete, wrong, amended or withdrawn by the buyer. Contract end dates and "latest possible end" dates are taken from, or estimated from, the notices. Buyers may extend, vary or end contracts early. We don't guarantee that the Service is complete, accurate or up to date, that it includes every relevant opportunity, or that you'll win any contract. Always read the official notice and procurement documents before you act.

4. Free issues

Your first 2 issues are free. You don't need a card, and nothing renews automatically after them.

5. Plans, founder price and payment

• Founder price (for the first 20 paying subscribers): one macro-region £19/month or £190/year; national £29/month or £290/year.
• Your founder price is locked for as long as your subscription stays active. If you cancel and come back later, the price on offer at that time applies.
• After the first 20 paying subscribers, new subscribers pay £29/month or £290/year (macro-region) and £49/month or £490/year (national).
• GroundsBids is not VAT registered, so no VAT is added to these prices. Payments are taken in advance by our payment provider, Stripe, and renew automatically at the end of each monthly or annual period until you cancel.
• If we change prices for non-founder plans, we'll give you at least 30 days' notice by email before your next renewal.

6. 30-day money-back guarantee

If you're not happy, email us within 30 days of your first paid payment and we'll refund it in full. You don't need to give a reason. Refunds go back to the original payment method, usually within 10 working days.

7. Cancelling

You can cancel at any time from your account/billing link or by emailing hello@groundsbids.co.uk. Cancellation stops the next renewal. You keep access until the end of the period you've already paid for. Apart from section 6, we don't refund part-periods. If you buy as a consumer (not for a business), you also have the statutory 14-day right to cancel under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013. The digest is designed for businesses.

8. Using the digest

The digest is for internal use by your business. You may share it within your organisation, but please don't resell it, republish it or redistribute it in bulk. The underlying public notices remain under the Open Government Licence.

9. Liability

Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else the law doesn't allow us to limit. Otherwise, we're not liable for any loss of profit, contracts, business or opportunity, or for any indirect loss, and our total liability to you in any 12-month period is limited to the amount you paid us in that period.

10. Changes and ending the Service

We may update these terms, and we'll email paying subscribers about any material changes. If we stop the Service, we'll refund any unused prepaid period pro rata.

11. Law

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction. If you're a consumer living in Scotland or Northern Ireland, you may also bring proceedings in your local courts.
