For UK grounds maintenance, landscaping, arboriculture and grass-cutting contractors

Only the grounds tenders worth your time. Every week, by region.

GroundsBids reads the official UK tender feeds for you and sends one short email: the open grounds maintenance and landscaping contracts in your area, in plain English, plus a calendar of contracts coming up for renewal and who holds them now.

2 free issues, no card. Cancel anytime.

Every issue is checked by a person each Monday before it goes out on Tuesday.

Finding the right council contract shouldn't take all of Monday morning

Too many places to look

One buyer posts on Contracts Finder, another only on its own portal. One UK procurement professional counted 190+ different UK tender portals.

Alerts full of noise

Free alerts run on CPV codes that buyers use inconsistently. One UK business owner describes their portal alerts as "99% of them irrelevant despite having the filters set".

You hear about it too late

Some contracts are only worth chasing if you know months ahead that they are ending. Few tools show you when the contract ends or who holds it now.

FAQ

Where does the data come from?

From the UK government's official Find a Tender service and Contracts Finder, published under the Open Government Licence. We filter and summarise it. We don't change the official details. Always check the original notice before you bid.

Do you cover Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland?

We include notices from those nations that appear on Find a Tender. Public Contracts Scotland, Sell2Wales and eTendersNI are separate portals. We don't fully cover them yet.

Is every tender in the UK included?

No. Some buyers publish only on their own portals. We cover the two central feeds, which is where most UK public-sector notices end up, and we say so openly.

How is the re-tender calendar built?

From contract award notices that state a contract end date. Not every notice states one, and contracts can be extended, so treat the dates as a guide.

Who checks the digest?

The feeds are filtered automatically and the summaries are drafted with software help. Then a person reviews every issue on Monday, checks the plain-English summaries and flags anything odd (for example, a notice with an obviously wrong date) before it goes out on Tuesday.

Where do the "190+ portals" and "99% irrelevant" quotes come from?

From public discussions in two Reddit communities, r/procurement and r/smallbusinessuk, in 2026. We quote them as one person's experience, not as statistics.

Do you help write bids?

No. We help you find the right opportunities early. The bid is yours.

What is a macro-region?

A group of neighbouring UK regions. South & East covers London, South East and East of England. Midlands & West covers East and West Midlands, South West and Wales. North, Scotland & NI covers North West, North East, Yorkshire & the Humber, Scotland and Northern Ireland.

What is founder pricing?

The first 20 paying subscribers keep £19 (macro-region) or £29 (national) a month, or £190/£290 a year, for as long as they stay subscribed. After that, new subscribers pay £29/£49.

Is there a refund?

Yes. If GroundsBids isn't useful, ask within 30 days of your first payment and we'll refund it in full.
